CULTURAL AWARENESS
Culture is more than language, ethnic origin, and sexual orientation.
It is who we are.
We stroll, we step, and we chant. We speak Spanish, conversational French and against racial injustice. We support LGBTQ rights and the redefining of Latino masculinity. We listen to hip-hop, Latino trap, and classic rock. We dance in amateur salsa competitions and at backyard parties. We host panel discussions on race, class, and gender. We raise awareness about the political issues affecting both Latin America and the Middle East. We stand with women fighting for equal pay and support small businesses pursuing the American Dream. This is who we are — no singular label can define us.
What will you bring to our diverse organization?
